Astrid Quay, a solo musician and former member of the band Winter Flowers, has been creating exquisite, expertly made custom leather headbands under the name of Poppy and Quail since 2005. What started out as alterna-merch for Winter Flowers has since found it’s way onto the style pages of Nylon, Arthur Magazine and more. The bands are hand cut leather and most are hand-dyed, while some are made from the scraps too narrow for most other applications. Poppy and Quail headbands look and feel like no other, with utmost attention paid to detail, quality and durability, designed with timelessness in mind.
