Sake of the Song is owned and operated by Jody Orsborn. After working in the music business for years and watching the changing face of the entertainment industry and the dwindling money actually making its way into the pockets of the musicians, I decided to get proactive and figure out a unique way to help promote some of my favorite artists. And thus was born Sake of the Song!
In addition to Sake of the Song, I also run the website When You Awake, which is a daily music blog celebrating everything from classic country and classic rock to the the current indie folk and roots scenes. You can check it out above through the navigation panel.
It is my hope that Sake of the Song will not only inspire you to go out and search out the music of these fine musicians but even to get a little crafty yourself. We will be putting up a Crafting Corner very soon with different music inspired crafts brought to you by the great Benny & Kelly. Stay tuned for that.

Sake of the Song respects your privacy. Any personal information that you offer during your visit to our store is strictly between us. It won’t be shared, rented or sold to any other parties.
Shipping- Orders are shipped three times a week. Depending on the day your order is placed, it will be sent on the following Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Once it has shipped, you can expect a confirmation email from us letting you know that your order is on its way.
Returns- Return the item to us in its original condition within 7 days of receipt and we’ll be happy to issue an exchange or store credit. (Unfortunately shipping fees are non refundable, and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.) Contact us for shipping address.
We suggest shipping your package with a carrier such as UPS or FedEx or via insured USPS Parcel Post just to be safe.
Sake of the Song welcomes submissions from musicians for consideration. If you are interested in being a part of our family, send an email to support@sakeofthesong.com and attach an image of your product(s) along with a description of it, how much you’d like to sell it for, and a link to your myspace or music website. We will get back to you within a week with our decision.
