Hackensaw Boys
Justin Neuhardt has played Charismo percussion with the Hackensaw Boys for 10 years. They have traveled all the lower forty-eight, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, Holland and Norway gathering fans along the way. The band is currently working on it’s 6th full-length CD. He also works with friends in Venice on studio recordings. Some of the artwork that Justin creates are the Charismo “junk sets” that he plays with the band (which are coming soon to Sake of the Song). Other work consists of paintings, collages, assemblages and light boxes. All of these pieces are made from found materials. When Justin moved to Venice California with his wife in 2005. He found the year round sunny weather and the creative culture very welcoming. He then started Pigeon Kingdom studios in the back yard, a place that allows him the creative freedom to do whatever the hell he wants.
